Availability of 1-1/4" Hitch Receiver for a 2017 Nissan Murano

Question:

Do you guys sell a trailer hitch for a 2017 Nissan Marano that is an inch and a quarter? I see plenty of 2 inches but I don’t see an inch and a quarter and the problem is I have an inch and a quarter on my Forrester so I want to try to keep on the same- thanks in advance

As surprising as it is, there are only 2" hitch receiver options available for your 2017 Nissan Murano so you'll need to use an adapter for any 1-1/4" accessories.

For a trailer hitch I recommend the etrailer # e98907 because it has a matte black finish that better matches the trim on your Murano, plus it is more durable than the glossy black finish of the other hitches. Attached is an installation video of this on a similar Murano for you to check out.

When it comes to an adapter I recommend the Brophy # HT02 simply because it doesn't act as an extension that will reduce the weight capacity of the trailer hitch.
