How to Choose Correct Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System
Question:
Looking at the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 6,000 lbs GTW, 600 lbs TW for 419 lb TW TT. If I add propane, battery, water ..plus payload behind rear axle Ill be closer to 500-550 lbs. Is it better to go with the higher 600 lbsinch or stick with the 450 lbsinch because of the 419 TW? Should the added wieght be calculated into the WDH specs?

When choosing a weight distribution (WD) system you always want to look for a tongue weight (TW) range that your total tongue weight (TTW) falls in the middle of. You can find your TTW by adding the loaded TW of your trailer with any weight placed behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle.
If your TTW is that 500 - 550 lb range that you mentioned then I would actually go with the Fastway e2 rated for 800 lbs TW, part # FA92-00-0800, because the TW range for this system is 400 - 800 lbs. The 600 lb system, part # FA92-00-0600, has a range of 250 - 600 lbs which you would still fall inside, but you're on the higher end with this setup.
Don't forget your hitch ball, part # EQ91-00-6080 for a 2" or part # EQ91-00-6100 for a 2-5/16", and then the 1-7/8" thin-walled socket like part # EQ70-00-4800 to finish off the complete system.
