Recommended Way to Carry 2 E-Bikes When Also Towing a Small Pop-Up Camper

Question:

I like the idea of the bike bunk to mount to my tent trailer, behind a grand caravan, but Id like something that can carry closer to 150lbs. You know of anything?

I may have a solution for you, but there is not anything available similar to the Stromberg Carlson # CC-275 that will give you the 150-lbs capacity you're looking for. Instead, you could use a dual hitch adapter like the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers # D210, and then carry your bikes that way. This may not work if you've got a jack or propane tank on the front of the trailer frame, but it would provide you with a solution otherwise.

It sounds like you have some heavier e-bikes possibly, so if you don't already have a bike carrier for them, the Hollywood Racks SportRider SE # HLY84FR is designed specifically to handle heavy e-bikes and has an 80-lbs per bike capacity. The SportRider SE requires at least 27-1/2" from the face of the hitch to the farthest part of the rack for clearance, so you would want to make sure you have that much spacing in order to avoid contact with anything at the front of your trailer.

If that wouldn't work, feel free to send over some photos of your trailer tongue and I can see if I can come up with an alternative solution for this.
