Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com.Today, we're going to take a quick look at the K Source Replacement Side View Mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side, factory mirror on your 1994 through 1997, Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500. It is modeled after the Rams original look and fit. So you're really not going to be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror. It's going to look like it came with your Ram, right from the factory.

So you're not going to have to worry about having a 'piece together from the junkyard' sort of look, it's all going to be integrated, blended in nicely with your Ram. So it's going to all be very cohesive.This does have the manual mirror face adjustment, just like the original, so you can get that angled to whatever you need for your viewing preferences. So you can be sure to see all the vehicles around you and everything as you're backing up.It is an OE grade product. So it's going to have the same high quality materials as your original. It does have a reflective chrome plating on the front of the glass to give you that nice clear image.

It's also a convex lens, like most of your passenger's side mirrors, so that you're going to reduce the blind spots, going to give you a more wide angle view. So all that's going to be very nice.It does have the breakaway design. So it will fold in on itself, if you we're to run into like a parking post or the side of your garage or something like that, it's going to fold in to try and absorb some of that impact to help reduce the amount of damage to the mirror itself.It does have a durable plastic housing here. You can see when we turn this around, this is a pretty gritty finish here, so it's going to blend in well with your Ram. It's going to have that nice rugged look to it.

This is going to be very durable here, and it's got that black, gritty finish.As far as the installation, it's going to be extremely simple. It's got the same mounting points and footprint as your original. So basically all you have to do is take the old mirror off, put this one in its place, tighten down these nuts to get this held in place and you're set. You're not going to have to drill any holes or worry about gluing down anything. It's all going to be the same holes as the original.For those of you who need a little bit more reassurance, that this is going to be the mirror that you need.

If you check out your owner's manual and you see the original equipment number that you see on the screen there, you can rest assured this is going to be the mirror that you need. This is a replacement for that original equipment number.Now this is the passenger side mirror. So if you also need the driver's side mirror, we also have that available here at etrailer. If you've got a Ram, you're wanting to replace the passenger side mirror, this is the mirror that I would go with myself.
