Question:

Good Day, I am not sure the difference between the break controllers you get fro the 2008 Sequoia with tow package. Could you assist. Thanks

The Timbren kit part # TTORSEQ1 that you referenced is the correct fit for your 2008 Toyota Sequoia and would give you additional suspension support when towing. That said I wouldn't necessarily recommend this kit unless you were planning to be towing most of the time as it would make the ride quality a bit harsher when not towing.

The better option if you are concerned about ride quality is the part # F4164 which allows you to use varying air pressure in the bag so that you can tailor the amount of support you get. When not towing you could air the bags down and have a totally unaffected ride quality.

There are several different options for brake controllers for your 2008 Toyota Sequoia with a factory 7-way. The easiest to use and install is by far the Curt Echo part # C51180 which basically just plugs into an active 7-way and once synced to your smart phone is ready to tow and gives you a proportional brake controller that senses how hard you apply the vehicle brakes and applies the trailer brakes with a relative intensity. The best value for a traditional type of brake controller is the Brake EVN part # TK63VR which installs with the harness # 3040-P. It mounts to your dash board lower panel and plugs right into the port designed for brake controllers. If you were looking for the best option that is easy on the wallet this is by far the best choice. For a more advanced controller with the best intertia sensor and easiest to read display you'd want the P3 part # 90195 which also installs with the # 3040-P. These are the main players to consider but if you have further questions or preferences let me know.
