The best option to allow for a 5th wheel trailer to be connected with a gooseneck trailer hitch ball is a full replacement pin box, the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter part # RP85FR for Lippert 1621 or 0719 Pin Boxes or part # RP94716-61301 for Lippert 1716 Pin Boxes. If you don't have one of these pin boxes then you'd need to use an adapter like the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter part # CAB-C5G or part # CAB-C5GX1216.
