There are a few things that you will need to know in order to choose the right disc brake kit for your 2003 DHM boat trailer. I assume you have idler hubs and are replacing your brakes so you already have a 4-bolt brake mounting flange # 4-35 as well as an actuator and brake lines.

If so, the first thing you need to know to get the right brakes is the axle capacity you have, and the other is your bolt pattern. If you aren't sure what your bolt pattern is I've linked a help article as well as a handy template for you so you can determine it.

The over-the-hub disc brakes are for 3,500 lb axles at the lightest, and if you have those capacity axles with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern we do have a couple of great options.

The best option is the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 10" Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Dacromet and Stainless Steel - 3,500 lbs # K2R35DS.

These are the best option because of their combination of stainless steel calipers which is going to give your brakes optimum resistance to corrosion for extended life.

The other option is the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 10" Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Dacromet and KodaGuard - 3,500 lbs # K2R35DKG.

These have KodaGuard-plated cast iron calipers, which is also strong but a small step down from stainless steel so these would be better for more occasional use. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.
