Recommended 5th Wheel Hitches for 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 and 2014 Terrastar International Flat Bed

There isn't a hitch that is compatible with both a standard pickup truck and a flat bed, but we can provide you with options for both for two reasons. First, a flatbed truck is going to sit higher up than a standard pickup, so a standard 5th wheel hitch isn't going to allow you to tow level because of the height. Secondly, since your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 is a short bed truck it will require a sliding hitch to allow for the proper clearance when turning in order to avoid contact with the truck's cab.

For your 2020 GMC 3500 I recommend using the B&W Companion # BWRVK3775 which is a sliding hitch that will fit in the OEM prep package in your 3500. B&W hitches are arguably the highest quality hitch on the market and the 1" Thick dual jaws provide 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact which means less rattle and more security than slide-bar jaws. It also has a fully articulating head that will make hooking up easier and help limit chucking.

For your flatbed I recommend installing the B&W Turnoverball for Flatbed trucks # BWGNRK1500, which will not only provide you a way to tow a 5th wheel, but also a gooseneck trailer if needs be. You'll also need the B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs # BWRVK3050 which will give you the hitch you need to tow a 5th wheel trailer with your flatbed truck.
