Can I Use a Smaller then Recommended Pioneer Platform Rack on my 2018 Jeep Renegade  

Question: Looking at the Rhino Rack Pioneer SX system for 2018 Jeep Renegade with factory raised rails. The recommended size is the 60x54 rack. This will result in an overhang of 3.34 on each side of the installed rails. I was wondering, since the factory mounted rails are widest at the mid section of the roof and do not exceed a maximum outside width of 46.5 would the 60x49 Pioneer SX rack mount on my vehicle? My concern is the SX legs to mount to the factory rails. Are they adjustable in width on the rack? The narrower rack would suit me much more.
