The only trailer hitch we offer for a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 which installs behind the license plate is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13932 which is designed specifically for models with an aftermarket roll pan bumper.
If you have a standard rear bumper then your only option is one that mounts underneath, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13322.
