When Using Demco Hijacker MorRyde Capture Plate Are Locking Plates of Hitch Head Used
Question:
Hi. I recently purchased a Demco autoslide hitch. I also purchased a Demco capture plate for a MorRyde pin box. Is it necessary to leave the bolt on guides on the hitch with this plate attached? Thank you,

I checked the install instructions for the Demco Morryde pin box capture plate part # DM6025 and the last step states that the locking plates on the hitch head are not needed with this kit installed. They can be extended all the way out or removed.
