Can a Person Stand on the Lid of the UWS 42" Chest Tool Box

will the lid support the weight of a 225# adult male standing or sitting?

The UWS 42" Standard Chest Toolbox part # UWS01015 is a very solid box. I would have no worries with putting 225 lbs. on top of it. Sitting no issue. Standing since you will be putting alot more pressure on it right in the center it may flex slightly. With as long as you aren't jumping and bouncing on it it will not be deformed when you get off of it.
