Radiator Adapter Fittings for Derale Series 8000 Transmission Cooler on 2010 Ford F-150
Question:
I want to order your part number 13504 Derale Series 8000 Plate and Fin Heat Exchanger with Installation Kit but the outlet barbs size says 11/32 and the lines on my transmission have a larger ID than the hose you provide. What adapter do I need and will reducing the hose cause any issues on the system ? Thank You

There are two different options for your 2010 Ford F-150 for adapter fittings to use with the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13504.
Using a different adapter size is not going to cause any issues, and you are going to need to know the size of your fittings, or measure to determine due to there being two potential options for your 2010 F-150:
- 1/2"-20 Thread: Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for Ford and Lincoln # D13024
- 5/8"-18 Thread: Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury # D13025
I have added a link to a video review and the instructions for you to check out as well of the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13504.
