4-Pole Trailer Adapter for GM trucks with Factory 7 Way for a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado
Question:
I need a connector for my 2007 chevy silverado new body style. I want to be ale to connect a 4 pole flat connection to my factory 7 way without splicing wires. Would the 118384 be what i need? And how long is it? From what i understand from your web site....it should just unplug from the back side behind the bumber and i would just plug this 118384 in , between the two sockets i unplugged? Thank You

You are exactly correct, the 4-Pole Trailer Adapter for GM trucks with Factory 7 Way, part number 11838, will provide you with a 4 way connector. The 7 way will still function as well. The adapter would install inline between the two sockets, just as you describe.
