Is There Version of Thule DoubleTrack that Can Carry Fat Bikes
Question:
I have a Thule platform rack TH990XT and want to know if rear wheel holder 7521568001 and front tire tray 8523598001 will fit it. If not what holders do I need tor fat tire bike for that rack

Expert Reply:
The older version of the Thule DoubleTrack, TH990XT that you referenced, holds tires up to 2.5 inches wide and unfortunately there aren't any adapters to increase that for fat tires. The cradles you mentioned will not fit your bike rack. The new version of the rack, the DoubleTrack Pro XT # TH92BJ, fits up to 5 inch fat tires.
