Recommended Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2018 Kia Sorento

Question:

Im looking to put a tow hitch and harness on my 2018 Kia Sorento V6 FWD. I was thinking something with 5k lbs capacity I case I keep it when I upgrade to an AWD SUV next year. Can you recommend a part maybe on of the ones on sale? I was told you guys also do the install. Can you tell me what that looks like? Thank you.

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2018 Kia Sorento (All Models) is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98843 which is a direct bolt-on fit which has a 5,000 lbs weight capacity. I really like the etrailer hitch over the Curt and Draw-Tite options because it has a matte finish which will do a better job of hiding nicks and it blends in with the vehicle much better which you can see below.

Then for a trailer wiring harness, the best option is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118583 which is plug-n-play. Don't forget the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 to complete your setup.
