Recommended Leaf Springs for Single 5,200 Axle
Question:
Hi my 6’ x 10’ single axle landscape trailer has a 5200lb non brake axle. I am wondering which leaf springs I should be ordering. I want the best capacity for this upgraded axle. Thank you

For your 5200 lb axle, I recommend the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 5,300-lb Trailer Axles - 24-7/8" Long # SP-222275. Each spring is rated for 2,650 lbs so when you put one on each side you get the 5,300 lb capacity. You will be limited by the weakest component of your trailer, so even with these slightly larger springs the 5,200 lb axle or other components would limit your maximum capacity.
You may need the U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 7" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-8, bolts # 166081. You will also need 4 shackle straps like # TRSL225.
