Question:

I am trying to replace a brake actuator for a Tie Down 70lc. I cannot find it anywhere and am told it isnt made anymore. Is there a replacement part for it?

According to my research the Tie Down 70lc is a hydraulic disc brake actuator. They are no longer made but can definitely be replaced with another actuator. I recommend to use the Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator - Disc Brakes part # 099-175-20 which is also a low profile hydraulic disc actuator with an electric lockout like the Tie Down model. It has the included nice feature of automatically seating around and latching onto the hitch ball for convenient hook up. I have attached a video for your reference.
