Troubleshooting Passenger Side Brake Light Not Working on 2014 Chevy Cruze with T-One Harness
Question:
I installed the trailer wiring harness on 2014 Chevy Cruze and followed the video as I was installing. Afterwards my passenger side brake light stopped working unless it is connected to the trailer and all lights work as should. Unhook the trailer wiring connection and the passenger brake light stops working again. If I remove the t connector and plug it back up as normal the brake lights work fine.

That is a very interesting situation. I reached out to my contact at Tekonsha about the T-One # 118508 on your 2014 Chevy Cruze and he said that it sounds like you may need a better ground connection or the unit is defective and needs to be replaced.
Go ahead and try relocating the ground making sure it's connected to a clean, bare-metal surface. While you're back in and installing it I also recommend checking the pins in the connectors to make sure nothing is bent and that everything looks to be in order.
If that doesn't solve the problem then it sounds like a defective item that needs to be replaced.
