Will Installation of Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller Affect Computer of 2017 Ram Laramie

After i hook it up,is it ready to use . will it affect my truck electronic system? I have a ram 2017-laramie-Hemi,5.7eng,4x4 8sp trans. pu. 4door.

After installing the Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller # TK90160 and custom adapter # 3024-P, you will need to simply adjust the power to the trailer brakes so they are not too hard nor too soft. I've included a cut-out from the complete installation instructions attached at the bottom of the page, which list the steps you'll need to follow to do this.

Aside from that, there isn't anything else you'll need to do to start using the brake controller. It will not have any effect on the electronic system of your 2017 Ram 1500 Laramie (5.7L Hemi). I looked through reviews submitted by actual Ram owners and none mentioned experiencing any issues related to the truck's computer system, or otherwise, after installing the Primus IQ with the custom adapter. I've attached just one of the many positive reviews for reference.
