Mostly Hidden Trailer Hitch for 2009 Ford Edge Sport
Question:
Looking at the Draw Tite Hitch # 75992, recommended by your site. However, in small print - it states EXCLUDES SPORT . My model is a 2009 Ford Edge SPORT. Please advise which model hitch to use, class 3 preferred. I was drawn to the Draw Tite brand due to its concealment design. Also, please advise on the correct wiring harness. I was drawn towards the TEKONSHA brand # 11855 due to its higher amp rating. Lastly, what Ball Mount would you recommend - for appropriate length

We do have a concealed Draw Tite hitch that fits your 2009 Ford Edge Sport with the part # 75686 which would be perfect.
The Tekonsha wiring part # 118551 is the way to go as well as it's easy to install and very reliable.
If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
