Recommended Size Transmission Cooler for a 2007 Nissan Altima with CVT
Question:
HI. Thinking of buying an 07 Altima 3.5 se with app. 55,000 miles. They can have CVT tranny issues. My thought to help prolong the car is to add the best tranny cooler possible. Wondering your thoughts on this solution before I buy the car, and which cooler you recomend? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks and stay safe

The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13501 would be a good size for a 2007 Nissan Altima so this is what I recommend. It comes with everything that you need for installation as well. I can't really speak of this vehicle or transmission combo specifically but reducing the transmission fluid temperature via a more efficient transmission cooler will help prolong the life of the transmission.
