Recommended Gooseneck Adapter for 1621 Pin Box

I have a 2012 forest river xlr 42 foot 14 ft garage and need to replace the fifth wheel pin box with a gooseneck what is the pin box model

Your 2012 Forest River XLR I believe has a 1621 pin box. You can confirm this by looking at the stickers on your current pin box or measuring the bolts as shown in the attached article.
The Reese Goose Box Fifth-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # RP85FR is an air ride replacement rated for 20,000 lbs and would be my recommendation. Another option is the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter Pin Box # 325-GH-8045 rated for 21,000 lbs.
