The Curt Q16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch similar to part # C16120 was designed to fit industry standard in bed fifth wheel rails. For instance on your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2600 with a 6.5" bed you would use the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit part # C16411-204 to install the fifth wheel into the bed of your truck. The one issue here is that with the short bed truck you really need to watch your turning. It can be an issue of the cab of the truck and the camper making contact with each other.
Typically I recommend using the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider part # C16521 for anyone in your situation. This allows you to move the pivot point rearward 12" and makes slow maneuvers much easier to accomplish. The A16 replaced the Q16.
I've linked a video for you to checkout it covers both the install process of the rails and the recommended fifth wheel hitch.
