Tip for Cutting Vacuum Line of 2020 Jeep Gladiator to Install Supplemental Braking

I have a jeep Gladiator and the vacuum hose is a hard not very flexible line before i cut to install the check valve and tee a mopar mechanic said those lines are extermely hard to tha type of fittings may need special tool. Do you have any advice?

I'd use a pipe cutter. Pipe cutters will make quick work of the harder vacuum line and won't damage the overall shape of the lines either. Pipe cutters can be found at local hardware stores.
