How Does Brake Controller Install in 2008 Ford F-150 with 4-Way
Question:
I have a 2008 F150 xlt. I have the 4 way at the rear and thats it. I ordered a prodigy p3 brake controller. I have a 3035 P adapter for the controller to my truck. I called etrailer twice for assistance on what I needed. I already had to send one part back. The two service reps insisted that I needed a ETBC7. That would solve all of my problems. I just watched a video of yours Trailer brake controller installation 2009 Ford F150. He installed some of what I purchased. He didnt run relays, fuses, or anything to the battery. He just wired it in from the rear of the truck. Will what he did work on my 2008?

Instead of the # ETBC7 which comes with relays and other components you don't need you will want the part # 37185 which basically is just the 4-way to 7-way adapter. You'll run the blue wire of this adapter to the wiring on the frame rail like the video showed and once you have the P3 part # 90195 connected to the truck using the # 3035-P the brake controller will be ready to use.
