Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Thule Camber Bike Rack on a 2020 Subaru Ascent
Question:
I want to use a bike rack with my 2020 Subaru Ascent. From what I've looked at I think I want to go with a trailer hitch style because it won't be sitting on my vehicle directly and it'll be easier to load than one that installs on the roof. I think I like the Camber 4 bike but wanted to get your take and what hitch you think would be best with this. Thanks!

The Thule Camber # TH9056 is a really great option that I know you'll be happy with! The trailer hitch that I recommend using for this application is the Draw-Tite # 76253 because it installs behind your rear bumper which means you can cover it with the rear panel when you aren't using it for a complete OEM look. This hitch is also the most cost-effective when it comes to this style so you are getting the best of both worlds without sacrificing quality.
I've attached some pictures and videos that you can reference of both the hitch and the bike rack on similar Subaru Ascent models. The only other thing you might need is the Adapter Bar # TH982XT if any of your bikes is a child's bike or if it has an alternative frame (like a step-thru). The adapter bar not only allows the bike(s) to fit, but it helps them to sit level and promotes ground clearance.
