Parts Needed to Install Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller on 2017 Ram 1500 Laramie

I have the two sockets on the rear of my truck. Do I need a switch up front on the dash board?

To install the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 on your 2017 Ram 1500, you'll need the custom adapter part # 3024-P, which will plug to a matching connector under your dash. I've attached a photo showing this connector. As long as you have a fully functional 7-way connector on the rear of the truck, you're all set!
