Recommend Weight Distribution Hitch for Trailer with 400 lb Tongue Weight Multiple Tow Vehicles

Looking for a weight distribution hitch for a 400 pound tongue weight camper trailer. I’d like to have it be adjustable enough to use on both a three-quarter ton Chevy pick up as well as a 2020 on the pilot.

I have great news for you. We have several weight distribution systems available that can be used on both trucks and suvs. The reason for this is because a weight distribution system is based off of the trailer rather than the tow vehicle. I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System part # FA92-00-0800 which is rated for a tongue weight range of 400 - 800 lbs. That said, if you decide to tow an even heavier trailer with your truck for example you can purchase another set of spring bars that allow for increased weight capacity. In regards to adjustability, the shank allows for you to adjust the hitch height on either vehicle to get the trailer completely level.

The only other thing you will need is a hitch ball, part # EQ91-00-6080 for 2" or part # EQ91-00-6100 for 2-5/16".
