You mention the upgraded circuit board which you also carry is that the one I have and does it matter. If so can I get the upgraded version?

The Replacement Printed Circuit Board and Switch for MaxxFan Roof Vents # MA10-04301K-V16 is the upgraded circuit board from what you sent in a picture of (4201). This will still work for you and will give you a more reliable board.
