The best trailer hitch for a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98912 which is a direct bolt-on fit with no cutting or drilling required so you won't need to permanently modifying the vehicle. It has a hidden cross tube so all you will see is the receiver tube, not the unsightly bulky cross tube so you get the best overall appearance. The best part of all is that it's super easy to install so you can do this yourself at home. I have attached an install photo for you.
If you will be towing a trailer, you'll also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118467 and the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 which completes your setup.
