Wiring Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2005 Holiday Rambler Neptune

Question:

I have a 2005 Holiday Rambler Neptune, Class A Motorhome. It does have a 7 pin plug at the rear of the coach. All the contacts are correct and working except for the trailer brake blue wire terminal. I do not believe the motorhome has ever had a brake controller installed. I read the information that was given for another model of a H.R. the Endeavor It stated that the connector plug should be in the compartment next to the drivers seat. I have removed the cover and gone through all of the wires and can not find anything that has a connector with a blue wire or 3 wires and a blue wire. I have also looked under the dash on the drivers side and found nothing as well. Do you have any other ideas? Or do I need to start from the rear and run a new wire?

You checked everywhere the brake controller install harness should have been if it was present. Your best option would be to make the hardwire connections instead. You could run a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) from the 7-way up to the front of the vehicle. Then for running the power and ground wire up to the vehicle battery we have the double bonded wire set part # 10-2-1 which you could use for power and ground. You'll want a 40 amp breaker as well like # 9510.

The Brake EVN # TK63VR is a really great option as well that is proportional and very reliable!
