Will Sway Control Tab Hit Trailer Frame With Tight Turns

Will the sway control tab hit the trailer frame when making a very sharp right hand turn ?

The sway control tab on the Curt Ball Mount w/ Sway Control Tab for 2" Hitches # D320 you referenced won't hit the trailer frame with sharp turns. The tab is attached to the side of the ball mount and the trailer would need to be nearly sideways to hit the tab. Friction sway controls should be removed if you're backing at an angle where jackknifing may occur.

Sway control brackets that are integrated in the ball mount like the Curt # D320, or sway control brackets that bolt to a ball mount like the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts # RP26003 are designed to provide attachment point for friction-style sway control.
