Sleeve Style Anti Rattle Device for 2 Inch Hitch Extender

Question:

I had to add an hitch extender to my bike rack as the receiver is recessed under my car. I keep the extender attached to my bike rack. When I attach my bike rack to the car, I use a hitch lock, rather than a screw in connection, for quick on and off. Because I am not using the screw to attach the hitch extender, it has a lot of play and is “not tight”. Is there some kind of expansion device out there that can be added and expand within the void between the male and female end of the connection? I would love it if I could find something. I have a 2” hitch.

We have just what you're looking for with the Gen-Y Anti-Rattle Clamp for 2" Hitch Receivers # GY88XR. The sleeve acts as a wedge to take out play between your hitch receiver and extender. Although it does not not require a wrench and a significant amount of force to install, like an anti-rattle bolt would, it will require you to use the included Allen tool to tighten down the two set screws on the corners.

I've attached a video that explains how it works in more detail.
