When it comes to weight distribution systems, you will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use. This includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your Sierra. This can be a little tricky with a car hauler trailer since the loaded vs unloaded tongue weight can vary so much. With your empty tongue weight of 380 lbs, and the GVWR of the trailer being 10,000 lbs, your best option is the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW, part # RP66084. If you plan on maximizing the available capacity of your car trailer, your actual total loaded tongue weight will quite possibly exceed 1,000 lbs and taking into consideration the extra weight behind the rear axle of your truck, your empty tongue weight will be closer to 500 lbs. The # RP66084 has a tongue weight range between 600 lbs and 1,200 lbs, which will put you right in the middle of it and although your ride will be a bit stiff when the trailer is empty, this will be the case for any system rated heavily enough for your application and because it doesn't just rely on tension to control sway, you won't get as rigid of a ride as with # EQ37101ET. The Straight Line system also includes the weight distribution shank, which you will need since B&W adjustable ball mounts, like the Tow&Stows, cannot be used as a weight distribution shank. The dual-cam sway control also tends to track better during turns and swerves than 4-point systems. Adding a hitch lock, like the # C23025 you had picked out, is a great idea and will work perfectly with the shank on the Reese system. The only other thing you'll want to add to your cart is a hitch ball (if you don't already have one), since one is not included with the Straight Line system. For a 2-5/16 inch ball you can use # 19286 or # A-90 for a 2 inch ball.
