Recommended 15K Hitch For 1997 Ford F-250 With 34 Frame
Question:
Need a hitch for a 1997 f250 7.3 diesel, 4x4,. Looking for a approximate towing 15000 gtw. frame is 34 is 5.5foot from frame to top of the 2x2 receiver opening. Currently it is a Reese Im replacing. Not sure of the model.

The only option that provides 15,000 gross towing weight capacity is the Curt Class V Receiver Hitch - 1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 Heavy Duty part # C15511 which is designed for the 34" frame but is also a universal fit hitch so there is drilling into the frame required. All of the hitches available for this truck do require some drilling so this is your best option.
