Kayak Carrier Recommendation for 2011 Toyota Tundra with Camper Shell

Question:

Im planning on hauling 2 Ascend fs10 kayaks from Kansas to Colorado. I have a snugtop topper on my 2011 Tundra, fitted with the Rhino Aero Vortex crossbar set. Kayaks weigh about 55-57 lbs each. Was wondering what the best way to mount the kayaks to the truck would be for our upcoming trip. Thank you!

The easiest to load option that I would recommend the highest is a bit pricey but the Thule Hullavator part # TH898 for each of your kayaks would give you a very easy to load and unload option. Basically you'll load the kayaks at about waist height and then use the assisted struts of the rack to push the heavy kayaks up on to the roof.

Or for a rear loading option that would work well the Yakima Saddle and Roller Setup # Y04083-04082 is a solid choice as well.
