Does Thule Roof Rack Have Weight Capacity for Weight of Roof Rack Tent

Question:

I Was Wandering I Want to get the Smittybilt 2783 Roof Rack tent To put on the Roof Of my 2017 Silverado....I have the thule aeroblade rack on my truck not that with 165lb weight capacity will it hold the tent plus 2-3 people? I dont want to make the purchase until I know for sure

Yes, the Thule aero bar roof rack you have that uses bars like the current WingBars part # TH711420 from Thule can be used with a roof rack tent like you mentioned. The 165 lb weight capacity of the rack is a dynamic capacity which means it's how much weight it can carry while travelling where there will be bumps that will greatly exaggerate the weight. So the static capacity would easily be enough.
