Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2003 Toyota 4Runner that Can Be Used with Weight Distribution

Question:

I have an 03 4Runner V6 that has a factory hitch but it doesnt mount to the frame, it has the 7pin wiring harness. Im a bit confused as to how much I can tow with it ? I am looking to upgrade to a frame hitch due to the fact that I have weight distribution set up for my camper but Ive been told that the factory hitch, not attached to the frame is not set up for weight distribution. Can you recommend a frame mount hitch ? Thanks, The first picture is looking up at current hitch, next is my set up for the trailer

The Draw Tite Class III hitch part # 75155 that you referenced is a great option for your 2003 Toyota 4Runner. It has the highest towing capacities and is rated for weight distribution like you are needing. When used with a WD system it has a towing capacity of 7,300 lbs.

Hey, while torquing down one of the bolts the head broke off. Is there a way I can get a replacement ? The bolt was the Hex Bolt M8 x 1.25 x 30 mm CL 10.9. I wish the head didnt snap off, now I have to remove the hitch to get it out.

We have full replacement hardware sets for your hitch available with part # RHK, but unfortunately don't offer individual components like the hex bolt you're needing. Your best bet here would be to try and source the bolt from a local hardware store, just making sure it's the same grade.
