Wiring for Installing Brake Controller in 2019 Ford F-150 without Brake Controller Fuse Slot
Question:
My 2019 F150 doesnt have a tow package. I plugged in my Prodigy controller to the factory plug , doesnt power up. Found there is no fuse slot for the trailer brakes. I added the factory harness to upgrade from the flat 4 pin and now have the 7 pin plug that works for lights, but no brakes. What can I do to make trailer brakes work? Please help.

What you are going to need is the brake controller install kit part # 5506 to activate your Prodigy # 90885. You'll use this to run power and ground from the controller to the truck battery. The black wire of the controller needs to run to the positive post of the battery and the white needs to run to the negative terminal.
