Best Slider Hitch Solution for 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 with OEM Rail Kit Short Bed

Question:

Will the Reese Elite fifth wheel hitch fit the new GMC Sierra Denali 3500 puck system? We purchased a Curt Q20 which was recommended to fit the footprints that GM had stamped into the bed of the $80,000. truck. We received the wrong Leg Kit to fit the head. Looking for Curt part number 16029 but unable to find anyone who sales them. We have the Reese Elite head which we removed from our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 and need to know if it will fit in the footprints GM put into the GMC. Can you help us so that we can tow our 37 foot fifth wheel?

In 2020 GMC changed the puck measurements for their factory rail kits from the 2019 models so the hitch fits all had to change. We don't have a way to convert a Reese hitch to fit but we do have really solid hitch options like the B and W Companion slider part # BWRVK3775 which fits the rail kit directly and provides you with the best slider hitch available. The Companion hitches are considered by many to be the best options as they are very well made here in the US, are easy to use, break down easier to make install/removal easier, and have a really tight jaw design which allows for a quiet and smooth ride quality.
