LED Still Flashes With Turn Signals While Using Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module

Question:

Ordered and installed #PP20-702 on my 2017 Ford F-150 Lariat for a third brake light on a hitch mounted bike rack. LED brake light still flashes when turn signals activated, so Im assuming I have LED tail lights and need your #C56196 2-3 wire converter instead? Would also be willing to purchase your command trailer light #328-003-84R that has 4 wiresfor brake, running, and turn signals if it could be wired up to a 4-pole plug, same as used for a trailer? Trailer plug is whiteG, Brownrunning, GreenRT and stop, yellowLT and stop...could 4 wire light be wired to work with trailer plug?

The Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module part # PP20-702 is your best option to isolate the brake signal from the turn signal for a third brake light. However, the issue that you are experiencing is that some LEDs simply don't draw enough power for the logic module to recognize a light is on therefore does not function correctly. The Curt 2-To-3-Wire Tail Light Converter part # C56196 is not a good option either because according to Curt you must hook up both sides in order for the device to function.

Therefore, the solution is to switch from an LED to an incandescence light which I have attached our selection of for you below. The Triple LED Trailer Tail Light part # CE44VR is an option and could be wired to a 4-way but it's hard telling if it draws enough power to fix the issue above although this is more likely since there are more diodes.
