I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and want to set up for towing behind my RV. Is the ready brute tow bar with brake assist compatible with Blue Ox or Roadmaster base plates?

Yes, you can use the Ready Brute Tow bar on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler with either a Roadmaster Base Plate Kit or the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit. That said, you will need an adapter in order to make them compatible. For example, if you use the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit part # BX1126 then you need the Blue Ox Base Plate Adapter Brackets for Ready Brute Elite Tow Bars part # BX88297. The only other thing you would then need to complete your setup is a flat-tow wiring harness for which the best option we have is the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267.
