Best Hitch for the Back of my Keystone 5th Wheel

Question:

What type of frame mount hitch is needed to go on the back of my keystone 5th wheel if I am going to pull a 12 foot utility trailer with a side by side that weighs 1600lbs?

We have a couple of great options for you like the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 66" Wide part # C13704 that you looked at. It is designed to work with frames anywhere from 22" up to 66" If your frame is wider then the Ultra-Fab 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver for Trailer Frames part # UF35-946403 is the way to go because it will work with frames up to 77" wide. Both come with all of the hardware you will need to complete your installation.

To decide which one is best for you simple measure your frame width and go from there with your selection. If the Curt works that would be my first choice if not the Ultra Fab is a good second.

You will want to consult your manual on your fifth wheel to determine what they recommend as far as towing capacities are concerned if you don't have your manual contacting keystone directly will also get your the answer you need.
