The Hardwired Brake Controller Installation Kit, part # ETBC7 is not vehicle specific, and will work on any vehicle that is not factory pre-wired for a brake controller. The kit includes everything needed for installing a brake controller, including the 7-Way trailer connector. We have a Brake Controller Installation FAQ article that you might find helpful.
In addition to a Brake Controller and the Install Kit, If your truck is the T-100, you will also need the T-1 Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118496 if your truck does not already have a 4-way connector.
If you have not already chosen a brake controller, I can highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. The P2 is very easy to use and will provide seamless, safe and predictable braking.
I have also linked you to an install video that you might find helpful. The video shows a controller being installed on a 2002 Tundra, but the procedure would be very similar to your vehicle.
