One of my co-workers did a comparison test on similar Timbren and Firestone Ride-Rite springs on his Dodge Ram. He found that all-around, the Timbren performed better but that when the truck was not heavily loaded, the Firestone system provided a better ride.

So, if you only pull your fifth wheel occasionally, the Firestone # F2550 would probably be a better choice for you. If you will be towing frequently, or will have the bed of the truck heavily loaded on a frequent basis the Timbren # TFR250SDE would work better.

If you decide to go with the Firestone option, a compressor system # F2158 that would allow you to easily add or release air pressure from the system is available. I've linked you to an install video.

Keep in mind that using a suspension enhancement system will not increase the weight bearing capacity of your truck.
