Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler RP94720 Installation and Compatibility

Question:

My trailer has the LIPP1621HD Pin Box on it and I am interested in the RP94720 adapter, but have a few questions for you before I purchase it. Is there much height adjustment required using the different holes or is the attachment pretty much standard from trailer to trailer? The RP61301 spacer kit is not required for my Pin Box, correct? Ive done several DIY projects, can the average handyman handle the installation? Currently, Im using the Convert-A-Ball adapter on my trailer it along with my trailer is 2 years old. Do you take converters and pin boxes as trade in towards the purchase of others? I would appreciate any suggestions and tips you have regarding the RP94720. Thank you.

The Reese # RP85FR Goosebox is indeed compatible with your Lippert 1621HD pin box. When the Goosebox is installed, you'll have 2 possible mounting positions that provide 2 inches of height adjustment. If the existing pin box is a 1621 or a 1621HD, the # RP61301 spacer kit will NOT be required.

Unfortunately, we don't take trades on old equipment. Your best bet would be to sell it on Craigslist or your local buy, sell and trade website.

Threre aren't really any special tips I can offer you. The installation procedure is well documented in the installation instructions which I've linked for you, but if you have any specific questions please let us know.
