Which hitch would you recommend for my Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van? The Curt or Drawtite?

For your 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 you really can't go wrong with either Curt or Draw-Tite as they are both very respected brands. When choosing which one, you do want to check and see if your Sprinter has the standard bumper or the factory step bumper.

If yours has the standard bumper I would go with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch part # 75549 because it is a little bit easier to install. It has a GTW of 6,000 pounds and a MTW of 600 pounds which are both the same as the Curt hitch for the standard bumper. I attached a video of that install on a 2016 Sprinter and it will be the same process for your 2019.

If your Sprinter has the factory step bumper, the hitches are very similar so it does not matter too much which one you choose but I would go with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13358 because I like the powder coat finish on their hitches more than the Draw-Tite. It has a GTW of 5000 pounds and a MTW of 500 pounds which are both the same as the Draw-Tite hitch for the factory step bumper. I attached another install video of the Curt hitch on a 2014 Sprinter but it will be the same process for your 2019
