Recommended Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch for 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with Factory Pucks

Question:

I'm trying to figure out what 5th wheel I should get. I have a 2020 chevy silverado 2500 with the prep package from the dealer. Can you help me out? I need a hitch that is at least rated for 16K, and since I have a short bed I think I need a slider.

I have the perfect hitch for your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3775. The hitch will drop right into the puck system, has a built in slider, and is rated at 20K.

Out of all the 5th wheels I have installed B&W is by far my favorite. I really like the design of the Jaws, they're 1" thick and wrap around the king pin which means there's less movement inside the head and less noise. They also have polyurethane bushing where the head attaches to the base/slider so the head can pivot without banging and making a lot of noise. When you combine those things together you get a comfortable quiet ride.
