Troubleshooting Trailer Turn Signal Not Working With 2015 Ram 3500
Question:
I have a 2015 Ram 3500. The signals and lights on my truck all work perfectly. I recently traded in a travel trailer and bought a 5th wheel trailer. Both trailers have the same issue...the left turn signal does not work. Brake lights and parking lights work all the way around. I hooked up my wifes SUV to both trailers and no problems. Im 99.99 sure its the truck. I previously had a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab with the same issue with the trailer I just traded in. No blown fuses or visibly bad wiring in either case. Im wondering if this is a common problem with Dodge? Hopefully there might be a pretty simple fix. Please help

You are correct it is your 2015 Ram 3500 because you wisely hooked up the trailers to your wife's SUV and there wasn't an issue. Since there are no blown fuses or bad wiring, it seems likely the issue is simply your trailer connector.
Check your connector for corrosion, which can be green or white in color. A build-up of corrosion can interfere with the signals getting through the connectors so if it is present you are going to need to clean the corrosion if possible or replace the plug with Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # C55774.
Additionally, I also highly recommend using Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector; using it will increase your 4-way's durability and extend its lifespan.
